Alachua County      }  This Indenture made the First Day
of January in the Year of our Lord One thousand
Eight hundred & Sixty Eight between James B. Brown and
Anne W. Brown his wife of Alachua County of the State
of Florida of the first part, and Cornelia Ann Dozier
of the Same County & State aforesaid of the Second part
Witnesseth, that the Said party of the first part for and
in Consideration of the Sum of Three hundred Dollars
lawful Money of the United States of America to them in
hand paid by the Said party of the second part
at or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents, the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have remesid
released and quit claimed and by these presents
do remise release and quit claim unto the Said
party of the Second part, and to her heirs and assigns
forever, all that certain piece or parcel of land
Known as Lot Five in Brown addition to the Town of
Gainesville in Alachua County, being in North
West Quarter of Section five (5) Township Ten (10) South
of Range Twenty (20) Containing Ten (10 acres less Fifteen
feet to the left for a Street, Said lot lay between the lots
Sold to Hicks on one Side and Thompson on the other
together with all and Singular the tenements & heredit
=aments and appurtenances and all the Estate, title
and interest of the Said party of the first part
