This Indenture made this Seventh day of
December in the year One thousand Eight hundred
and Sixty Seven, by Charles W. Brush of Baltimore City
in the State of Maryland Executor of the last will &
Testament of Nehemiah Brush late of New York
deceased - Whereas the Said Nehemiah Brush
departed this life leaving a last will and Testament
bearing date the tenth day of March in the Year One
thousand Eight hundred & forty three, which will has
been duly proven and is now of record in the Office of
the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Alachua County
in the State of Florida - And whereas the
Said Charles W. Brush, the Only Surviving Executor in
Said will Will named, under and by virtue of the
power and authority vested in him in and by said
Will, hath Sold to Wilson V. Pressley, of the
Said County of Alachua, the lot or parcel of land
hereinafter described for the Sum of Five hundred
dollars, which amount the Said Pressley has paid
to the Said Brush as is hereby acknowledged
Now This Indenture Witnesseth that in
Consideration of the premises, and of the Sum of One
dollars, the Said Charles W. Brush, Executor as
aforesaid doth grant bargain, Sell, and Convey
unto the Said Wilson V. Pressley his heirs and assigns all
that lot or parcel of ground Situate and lying in
the Town of Gainesville in the County of Alachua
in the State of Florida, which is designated on the
Map or plat of Said Town, as Lot number nineteen (19)
of "Brush's addition to Gainesville" Measuring from
North to South two hundred feet, and from East to
West four hundred feet be the Same more or less, It
being a part of the land which belonged to the Said
Nehemiah Brush at the time of his decease, and
which is Subsequently thereto by a decree passed by the
Circuit Court of St John's County in Said State of
Florida in the Case of Brush and others against
Pratt & others was confirmed to the heirs of the said
Nehemiah Brush, as by reference to Said decree duly
recorded in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court
of the Said County of Alachua will more fully appear
Together, with all and Singular the Estate, right, title
and interest which the Said Testator had in his
life time and at the time of his decease in and to
the Same - To Have and to Hold the above lot of
land with the appurtinances unto the Said W.V.
Pressley his heirs and assigns forever - Witness my
