County of Alachua } This Indenture made and
entered into this the 29th day of November AD 1865
between Ezekiel Parish of the State of Florida and County
of Alachua party of the first part and J.J. Kennard
of the State and County aforesaid party of the second
part Witnesseth that the said party of the first part
for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred &
Seventy five dollars to him in hand paid by the said
party of the second part, the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged hath given, granted, bargai
=ned, sold conveyed and confirmed unto the said
party of the second part his heirs and assigns the
following lots or parcels of land, Situated lying and
being in the County of Alachua and State aforesaid
known and described as the South half of No four
and the South half of lot number five of Section
Nineteen township Eight South of Range Twenty two
East containing Seventy Eight acres more or less. To 
gether with all and singular the tenements heredita
=ments and appurtinances thereunto belonging or in
any wise appertaining. To Have and to hold the
above described lots or parcel of land together with
all and singular the tenements and appurtinances
unto the said party of the second part his heirs
and assigns to their own proper use and benefit
and behoof forever in fee simple, and the said party
of the first part doth covenant grant and agree
to and with the said party of the second part
that he will warrant and defend the above described
premises or parcels of land against the lawful
claims or claims of all person or persons
