Alachua County   } Know all men by these presents
that I James J. Mixon in the County of Alachua and
State of Florida of the first part for and in Consideration
of the Sum of thirteen hundred & twenty Dollars lawful
Money of the United States to me in hand paid at or before
the ensealing and delivery of these presents by Archibald K.
Mixon of Marion County & Same State of the Second part
part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained
and Sold and by these presents do grant and Convey unto
the Said party of the Second part his executors, adminis
=trators, one light bay Mare, One dark bay Horse, one Sorrell
Mule, thirty five head of Cattle more or less, one Waggon,
One Buggy, two hundred bushel of Corn, & two thousand
lbs fodder, also farming utensils, To have and to hold the
Same unto the Said party of the Second part, his Executors
administrators & assigns forever, and I do for myself my
heirs, executors and administrators covenant and agree to
and with the Said party of the Second part to warrant &
defend the sale of the Said goods and chattels hereby
Sold unto the party of the Second part his Executors
administrators & assigns against all and every person
and persons whomsoever - In Witness whereof I
have hereunto Set my hand and Seal this the twentyeth
day of January One thousand Eight hundred & Sixty Eight
