                    This Indenture made this Eleventh day
of February Eighteen hundred & Sixty six between J.H. Roper
of the first part and Thomas C. Ellis of the Second
part, both of the County of Alachua State of Florida
Witnesseth; that for and in Consideration of the Sum
of five hundred Dollars to him in hand paid by the
party of the Second part, the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged the party of the first part doth, by these
presents, give, grant, bargain, Sell and Convey unto the
Said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, a Certain
lot of land lying and Situate in the County of Alachua State of
Florida and Known as lot number twenty Eight (28) on a Map
Called "Plan of Brush's extension of the town of Gainesville" Said
lot measuring Six hundred & Sixty feet East and West, and
the Same number of feet North & South and Containing ten acres
except a portion of Said lot conveyed by Said J.H. Roper
to F. Seagle and which is bounded as follows Commencing
at South East Corner of Said lot twenty Eight and running
West two hundred & Seven feet, thence North three hundred &
Eleven feet, thence East two hundred and Seven feet, thence
South three hundred and Eleven feet to place of beginning
and Containing One and half acres conveyed by these Presents
together with all the privileges in any wise appertaining 
To have and to hold the above granted premises to
the Said party of the Second part, his heirs and assigns, in
fee Simple, And the Said party of the first part, will
and his heirs, Executors, and administrators Shall, the said
property to the Said party of the Second part, his heirs
executors and administrators, forever warrant and defend
against the lawful demands of all persons whatever
In testimony whereof the Said party of the Second part
has hereunto Set his hand and Seal this day and year
above written
