that the foregoing relinquishment of dower was
taken signed and Sealed in my presence by Mariah
Louisa Howell to me well Known. she at the 
same time being Seperate and apart from
her said husband and declaring that the same
was done freely and voluntarily without any
fear, apprehension of constraint of or from her
said husband.

                     This Indenture made this Twenty
first day of April A.D. One thousand Eight hundred and
Sixty five between James W. Standley of the County of
Alachua and State of Florida, party of the first part
and Elizebeth Varnadore of the County of Alachua and
State of Florida party of the second part;
     Witnesseth, that the said James W. Standley
for and in consideration of the sum of Twelve
Thousand dollars to him in hand paid by the
Said Elizebeth Varnadore before the Sealing and
delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged, have granted bargained
sold, delivered released and conveyed, and by
these presents do grant, bargain sell deliver
release and convey unto the said Elizebeth Varnadore
her heirs and assigns all that certain Tenement
           and tract of land lying and being
situated in the County of Alachua and Known
