This Indenture made this Seventeenth day of
March in the year of our Lord One thousand
Eight hundred and Sixty Eight between J.M. Kennedy
and Caroline M. Kennedy his wife parties of the
first part of the County of Brooks and State of Georgia
and George Watson of the County of Alachua and
State of Florida of the Second part Witnesseth that
the Said parties of the first part for and in consider
=ation of the Sum of Twenty dollars to them in hand
paid by the Said parties of the Second part at
and before the sealing and delivery of these presents
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have
granted, bargained, Sold, Conveyed, and confirmed
and by these presents do grant, bargain, Sell and
Convey unto the Said party of the Second part his heirs
and assigns forever the following described tract or
piece of land Situate lying and being in the County
of Alachua State of Florida, and more particularly
Known and designated, as all that certain parcel of
land as Surveyed by George Watson County Surveyor for
Alachua County State of Florida, and described as
follows, beginning on the West Boundary of Section
Twelve in Township Eight South Range Eighteen East
Twenty Seven chains South of the North West Corner
of said Section being the South West Corner of the Northern
third part of the South West quarter of the North
West quarter of said Section Twelve as Surveyed to Said
Hendry in May AD 1853 at which place of beginning is
a lightwood post from which a pine tree Marked
W bears South fifty one degrees East fifteen links a
pine tree marked X bears South thirty one and a
quarter degrees West, Seventy five links, a pine tree
marked F, bears North Sixty one and a half degrees
East forty Eight links, and a pine tree marked X
bears North Seventy Six and a half degrees West fifty
links from this place of beginning running East
Twenty Chains and One link to a lightwood post on
the East boundary of Said Hendrys forty acre tract,
Whence bears a pine tree marked F North fifty two
degrees West Sixty Six links a pine tree marked D South
Sixty three quarter degrees, West Seventy five links, Pine
tree marked W South Eighteen degrees West Nineteen
links, and a pine tree marked D, and a pine tree and
North Sixty two degrees East two links thence along Said
East boundary, South Six chains, and Seventy Six links
to a lightwood post whence bears a pine tree marked
W North Thirty two degrees West fifty nine links a pine
tree marked D South Sixty one degrees East thirty one links
