         Alachua County   } Whereas I am desirous to carry on
         the planting interest in the County of Alachua and
         State of Florida for the year Eighteen hundred & Sixty Eight
         on the plantation Known as "the Mills place" on Marquands
         land near Micanopy in Said County and State = And it
         being desirous and necessary that advancement of Money
         provisions, provinder, and other plantation and family
         Supplies Should be made to enable So to do, And
         Whereas Savage & Haile Merchants and factors at Gainesville
         Florida have agreed to advance for the purpose above
         Set forth, Now Know all Men by these presents that I G.
         S. Chamberlin for and in consideration of Such advancement
         hereafter to be made by Said Savage & Haile not to exceed
         Five hundred dollars, and for and in Consideration of the
         Sum of Five hundred to me in hand paid, the receipt
         of which is hereby acknowledged, so obligate and bind my
         Self to deliver over to the Said Savage & Haile all the Crop
         of whatever nature and description by me cultivated or caused
         to be Cultivated during and for the year Eighteen hundred
         & Sixty Eight to be by them Shipped and Sold for the pay
         =ment of whatever may be due and owing to them on
         account of Said advancements, together with all charges
         Commissions and interest and the balance after Such payments
         are made to be paid over to me - And I hereby entered and
