County of Alachua } This Indenture made this twenty first
day of October Eighteen hundred & Sixty four, Between H.E. Pardee
and his wife Mary S. Pardee of the State and County aforesaid
parties of the first part and Edward Long of Valdosta
County of Lowndes and State of Georgia, party of the Second
part Witnesseth, that the said parties of the first part
for and in consideration of the sum of One thousand dollars
paid at and before the Sealing and delivery of these presents
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained, sold
and conveyed, and by these presents doth bargain, sell and convey
all that piece or parcel of land situate lying and being in the
Town of Gainesville to the said party of the second part, his
heirs and assigns butting and bounding as follows beginn
=ing at the North West corner of Section Four thence South
to the Robadier corner thence East to Sweet water Branch
thence the branch nearly South within fifteen feet of D.M.
Fingers corner reserving a road to the Branch along
said Fingers line distant One hundred yards within fifteen
feet of D.M. Fingers corner thence North within fifteen feet
of Vanlandinghams corner or line reserving a Road to the
Branch, thence up the Branch fifteen feet, thence due West to
the beginning corner containing four acres more or less
Together with all and Singular the rights, members, Herid
itaments and appurtinances to the said premises or in any
wise appertaining. To Have and To hold all and singular
the premises before mentioned unto the said party of the
Second part, his heirs and assigns forever in fee simple
and the said parties of the first part, their Executors
administrators, heirs and assigns, Shall and will warrant
and defend said bargained premises, themselves, and
against the claim of all persons whatsoever -

County of Alachua }that the signing of the foregoing Deed is his own free act and deed and that he hereby covenants and
agrees to make good and warrant the possession of the property therein conveyed to Edward Long his heirs administrators and assigns
forever in fee simple and I further acknowledge the Deed so given and conveying to Edward Long therein described a valid and
equitable Deed of conveyance allthough signed by my wife during my absence } H.E. Pardee
