Memmorandum of an agreement between John
C. Pelot Guardian & agent for the Heirs of Charles
Stewart, and John W. Crichton, the said John C. Pelot
Guardian &c agrees to rent to the Said John W. 
Crichton, the following described lands to wit a
tract of land lying in Alachua County Florida
about Eight Miles from Gainesville, Known as the
Charles Stewart place, for the term of one year, or untill
the first day of January 1869 together with all the
improved lands and appurtinances thereunto belong
=ing for and in Consideration of which the said
John W. Crichton agrees to pay to the said John C.
Pelot Guardian &c the Sum of Four hundred Dollars
on the first day of next December, the said sum to
be and is hereby made a first lien upon all the
crop made upon Said lands, In Witness whereof
we have hereunto Set our hands and Seals this 17th

                   Memmorandum of an agreement
between John C. Pelot, agent for Sarah A. Stewart
Administratrix of the Estate of James M. Stewart
and Henry C. Denton, The said John C. Pelot agent &c
agrees to rent to the said Henry C. Denton the follow
=ing described lands to wit the plantation or tract
of land lying in Alachua County about Eight Miles
from Gainesville Known as the James M. Stewart place
together with all the improvements or appurtinances
thereunto belonging for and in Consideration of
which the Said Henry C. Denton agrees to pay to the
Said John C. Pelot agent &c the Sum of Five hundred
Dollars in manner & form as follows, to wit Two hun
=dred Dollars cash and three hundred Dollars on
the first day of December The said Sum to
be and is hereby made a first lien upon all the
crops made on said land, In Witness whereof we
have hereunto Set our hands & Seals this 17th day of Janu
