day of November in the year Eighteen hundred & Sixty Seven
between David R. Williams of said State and County and
George A. Quinby of the State of New York & City of New
York.  Witnesseth for and in consideration of Twenty four
thousand Five hundred Dollars to him in hand
paid by the said George A. Quinby the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged does by these presents give, grant
bargain, Sell and Convey unto the said George A. Quinby
his heirs and assigns, all that certain piece or parcel
of land lying in the State and County aforesaid in the
Arredondo Grant & Known in the plan of survey of said
Grant, made by Messrs Burr & Washington, containing
One thousand acres and bounded on the North
by a tract of land designated in said plat as
land of Thos Napier, on the East by Section (20) twenty
Township (10) ten Range (20), on the South by a tract
of land designated on Said Plat as lands owned by
John H. McIntosh, on the West by fractional Section twenty
four township (1) ten Range (19) Nineteen of lands belonging
to the Estate of Maxey Dell dcd, together with
all the privileges and appurtenances thereunto belong
=ing or in anywise appertaining
          To have and to hold the above granted premi
=ses to the said George A. Quinby his heirs and assigns
in fee Simple And the Said David R. Williams will
and his heirs, Executors and Administrators Shall the
Said property to the Said George A. Quinby, his heirs
Executors and administrators forever warrant and defend
against the lawful demands of all persons whatever
And I Kate B. Williams for the consideration afore
=said, and divers other good and Valuable consid
=erations do hereby release relinquish and quit claim
unto the Said George A. Quinby his heirs, Executors &
administrators, all my right, claim or probability of
dower to the premises conveyed herein. In testimony
whereof the said David R. Williams & Kate B. Williams
have hereunto Set their hands and Seals this day and
