This Indenture made the 25th day of
March in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hun
=dred & Sixty eight, between Andrew Bates of Alachua County
and State of Florida of the first part, and Manuel H. Rogers
and John S. Monroe of the County of Marion and State aforesaid of
the Second part, Witnesseth: That the Said party of the first
part for and in Consideration of the Sum of Five hundred
Dollars, to him in hand paid by the said party of the
second part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged,
hath bargained and Sold, and by these presents doth barg
-ain and sell, unto the said party of the Second part, and to
his heirs and assigns forever all of the East half of the
North East quarter, and the South West quarter of the
North East quarter of Section thirteen in Township Eleven
South of Range twenty two East Containing One hundred &
twenty acres and thirty three hundredths of an acre, together
with all and Singular the hereditaments and appur
=tinances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining
and the reversion and reversions, remainder & remainders, rents
issues and profits, thereof and also all the estate, right title
interest, claim, or demand, whatsoever of him the said party
of the first part, either in law or in equity of in and to
the above bargained premises, and every part and parcel
thereof - In Witness whereof, the Said party of the first
part has hereunto Set his hand and Seal, this day and year
first above written. }

Alachua County } of the Peace of Alachua County and State of
Florida, Andrew Bates acknowledged to me, that
he had executed the foregoing Deed for the purposes therein
expressed on the day and year therein Mentioned, and the said
Sarah Bates, his wife being by me Separate and apart from
her said husband Andrew Bates acknowledged that She
executed the foregoing instrument of writing for the purposes
therein expressed and relinquished all her dower or right of
dower in or the same without any fear threat or compulsion of or
from her said husband. In testimony whereof I have hereunto
