This Indenture, made the Twenty Second
day of April in the Year One thousand Eight hun
=dred & Sixty Eight Between Henry G. Marquand
of the City County and State of New York of the first
part and James Chesnut of Gainesville State of
Florida of the Second Part, Witnesseth that
the Said party of the first part, for and in
Consideration of the Sum of Four hundred and
fifty dollars lawful Money of the United
State of America to him in hand paid by the
Said party of the Second Part at or before the
Ensealing and delivery of these presents, the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath
