party of the first part and Edward A. Jeffords party of
the Second part all of the County & State first above mentioned
Witnesseth: That the Said party of the first part, for
and in Consideration of the Sum of Five hundred
Dollars, lawful money of the United States to him in
hand paid, by the Said party of the Second part
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath
bargained & Sold, and by these presents doth barg

and to his heirs and assigns forever, all that Certain
piece, parcel or lot of land, Situate lying and being in
the State and County aforesaid and Known on the origin

and South, and bounded on the north by the Presbyterian
Church lot and on the South East and West by public
Streets, together with all and Singular the heridita
=ments and appurtinances thereunto belonging or in any
wise appertaining, and the reversion and reversions
remainder and remainders, rents issues and
profits thereof, and also all the Estate, right title
interest claim and demand whatsoever of him the
