that I, the said William C. Beckam as said 
Tax assessor & Collector by virtue of authority in me 
vested and of the Statutes in Such case made and 
provided, in consideration of the Sum of Sixty nine 82/100
Dollars to me paid by the party of the Second part, have
granted, bargained, and Sold, and by these presents
do grant, bargain & Sell unto the Said party of the
Second part their heirs and assigns forever all that
Certain piece or parcel of land lying and being in
the County of Alachua and State of Florida, Known
and described as follows to wit Lot No 6 Range No
1 in the Town of Gainesville containing one acre
more or less levied upon as the property of Joseph
M. Arnow to Satisfy State and County Taxes
Together with all and Singular the rights, titles
interest and appurtinances thereunto belonging or in
any wise appertaining which the said Joseph M.
Arnow had in the said property and the same
to hold as fully as I, the said Tax assessor & Collector
as aforesaid in pursuance of the Statutes, might
Could or ought to Sell the Same - In Witness Whereof
I the said William C. Beckam, Tax assessor and
Collector as aforesaid, have hereunto Set my hand 
and Seal this day and year first above written

Alachua County   } This Indenture made this 16th day of 
March AD 1868 between William C. Beckam, Tax assessor 
and Collector of the County and State aforesaid party of the 
first part and Stephen McCall of the said County 
and State party of the Second part, Witnesseth, that where
as the said William C. Beckam, Tax assessor & Collector as 
aforesaid, did by virtue of the authority vested in 
him on the Second day of December AD 1867, levy upon 
and Seize the property herein after described, And Whereas 
the said William C. Beckam as Tax assessor and
Collector as aforesaid did in Conformity with the
Statutes on Such case made and provided, duly adver
-tise the Said property for Sale, from the 2nd day of 
December 1867 to the 16th day of March AD 1868, being
the day and date of these presents, and did on this day
