Alachua County } This Indenture made and entered into
this Seventh day of January AD
Eighteen hundred and sixty seven between Mathew
Ennis and Nancy Ennis his wife of the first part
and John W. Duren & Harvey Simons of the second part
Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the
sum of (1400) Fourteen hundred pounds of clean long cotton
to be delivered to the party of the first part by or before
the first day of January next ensuing by the party of
the second part the party of the first part has granted
sold and delivered unto the party of the second part a
certain tract or parcel of Land lying being and
situate in the County and State afore said containing
(84 50/100) Eighty four and fifty one hundredths acres known and
designated in the survey & plat of said County as the
North Western portion of Section (7) Seven in Township
(9) nine, Range (21) twenty one S&E, Boundaries defined
as follows, Commence at the South West corner of Section
(7) seven Township (9) nine with a variation of (40)
forty degrees run due North on the line (40) forty chains
as will appear by refference to the Record on Book D
page 443 in the office of the Clerk of the County Circuit
Court of said County.
To have and to hold the said bargained
premises in fee simple to them the party of the second
part their executors heirs administrators and assigns
forever. In testimony whereof the party of the first part
hath hereunto set their hands and seals the day and
year above written.
