                   Know all men by these presents, 
That the Trustees of the Internal Improvement Fund
under the act of the General Assembly of the State of 
Florida, entitled an act to provide for and encourage 
a liberal System of Internal Improvements in this State"
approved January 6th 1855 for and in Consideration 
of the Sum of One dollar and twenty Cents per acre 
to them in hand paid by Jessie T. Bernard and
Samuel B. McLin of the County of Alachua, State 
of Florida -- have granted, bargained and Sold, 
and by these presents, grant, bargain, Sell, and 
Convey unto the Said Jessie T. Bernard and Samuel 
B. McLin and their heirs and assigns forever, the 
following described Lands, to wit: The East Half of
the North West Quarter of Section Twenty one in Township 
Eight South of Range Nineteen East Containing 
Eighty one 36/100 acres, and lying and being in the 
County of Alachua, in Said State of Florida - To 
Have and to hold unto them and their heirs and 
assigns forever in fee Simple - In Witness Whereof, 
Said Trustees have hereto Subscribed their names
and affixed their Seals and have caused an impre
=ssion of the Seal of the "Florida State Land Office" to be 
made hereupon, at the Capitol, in the City of Tallahassie
on this 3rd day of June AD 1859, and of the Independ
=ance of the United States of America the 83rd year
