Fairfield District      } This Indenture made on this
thirteenth day of May in the year of our Lord one
thousand Eight hundred & Sixty Eight between George
H. Miller Executor of the last will and testament of
John L. Young deceased of the first part and William
H. Stringfellow of Alachua County & State of Florida of
the Second part, Witnesseth that for and in consider
-ation of the sum of Five hundred and eighteen Dollars
to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby ackn
-owledged, the party of the first part has given
granted, bargained, sold and delivered and by these 
presents does so give, grant, bargain, sell and deliver
to the party of the second part, all that certain Town
Lot, situated in the Village of Gainesville in the
County of Alachua & State of Florida, known as Lot
No 1 of Block No (3) three of Range Six (6) in the
map of the survey of the Town of Gainesville made by
P.H. Young said Lot is situated on Main Street
running North & South on said Street two hundred
feet and East & West one hundred twenty feet and
contains 54/100 acres more or less, To Have and to hold
the said Town Lot unto the said party of the second
part his heirs Executors or administrators and assigns
in fee simple forever together with all and Singular
the Houses, buildings improvements and appurtinances
to the same belonging or in any wise appurtaining - In
testimony whereof the said party of the first part has
hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal as Executor
aforesaid on the day & year first above written

do hereby certify George H. Miller Granter in the within Deed
did this day come before me and acknowledged
before me that he signed sealed stamped and delivered
said Deed, and his act and deed on the day and
year and for the  purposes therein expressed
