that I Mary H. Standley the wife of T.C. Standley for
and in Consideration of the Sum of One dollar
paid to me by J.B. Brown at & before the ensealing & delivery
of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowle
=dged, do renounce, release, and relinquish unto the
Said J.B. Brown all my right claim, or enquity of
Dower in and to a certain piece or parcel of land
lying and being in the Town of Gainesville and Known
as Block five (5) and Six (6) Range Five (5) as fully &
absolutely as I might or could in any way do the same
In Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand & Seal
this 24th day of June AD 1868

apprehension or fear of or from her said husband
