Alachua County   } This Indenture made this the
Twenty third day of March in the year of our Lord
Eighteen hundred and Sixty Eight (1868) between 
William C. Beckam of said State and County as Tax
as Tax assessor and Collector of the first part, and 
John R. Bevill of the same State and County of the Second 
part, That whereas the said party of the first part
as Tax assessor and Collector of said County & State by 
virtue of Authority vested in him as Such by law
having levied upon, and duly and legally advertised
the property hereinafter described and herein granted
and the said party of the Second part being the
highest bidder for the same at public Auction he
bidding Forty Seven 14/100 dollars for the Same, and the
Same being Sold to the said party of the Second part
in Conformity with the Statutes in Such case made and 
provided, the said party of the first part, for and in
Consideration of the Said Sum of Forty Seven 14/100 dollars
to him in hand paid by the party of the Second part, the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged did hereby
bargain, Sell and Convey to the said party of the Second
part his heirs and assigns the following described
property To wit One half interest in Block two (2) Range
Six (6) in the Town of Gainesville Florida, the same being
Sold to Satisfy the State and County Taxes of James W. McRae
to be held in undivided Moiety with the said James W.
McRae it requiring so much to Satisfy the State and
County Taxes and charges due thereon by the said James
W. McRae And the Said Party of the first part does hereby
Convey unto the said party of the Second part as full, and
Complete title to the above described property and all the
privileges that he is authorized by Law as Tax assessor and
Collector to Convey
