the reason is that I am not able to manage my
affairs myself. I do not do this to defraud five of
my creditors, I dont owe but twenty five dollars and
that she will pay when called for, All that I Leroy
Chesser claim is for her to maintain me as long as I
shall live in this world. I Leroy Chesser relinquish all
my claim to any part or particle of property to her own
proper use, and at her disposal and to do as she

This Indenture made this the
twenty sixth day of November One thousand eight
hundred & sixty seven, Between Elizabeth Varnadore
and Leonard Varnadore of the County of Alachua
and State of Florida of the first part and Matthew
Chesser of the same place of the second part Witnesseth
that the said party of the first part in consideration
of the sum of Four hundred lawful money of the United
States to him duly paid, has sold and by these presents
does grant and convey to the said party of the second
part all that certain piece or parcel of land to wit
the SW1/4 of the NE1/4 & SE1/4 of the NW1/4 & W1/2 of the SW1/2
of section 20 T.8.R 18. Also the NW1/4 of the NW1/4 of
Sec 29.T.8.R.18. also the SE1/4 & S1/2 of the NE1/4 &

Also the S1/2 of Section 30 & Lots No 1 & 4 also in Sec

R.18 S & E with the appurtinances and all the Estate title
and interest of the said party of the first part therein
This grant is intended as a security for the payment
of Four hundred Dollars on the first day of January
One thousand Eight hundred and Sixty nine, with interest
thereon payable annually at the rate of ten per cent per
Annum which payment if duly made will render this
