Conveyance void. And if default shall be made
in the of the principle or interest above mentioned, then
the said Party of the Second Part and his assigns
are hereby authorized to Sell the premises Aforegranted
or so much thereof as will be necessary to Satisfy the
amount then due with the Cost and expenses

Alachua County       Whereas Enoch Edwards
of Alachua County and State of Florida is a Planter
engaged in the Cultivation and production of
Cotton & provisions* and finds himself unable Successfully
to carry on the Same without aid and
assistance and whereas Prescott & Seagles partner
under the name & Style & firm of Prescott & Seagles
of Alachua County & State of Florida have consented
to make advances to the said Enoch Edwards
for the purposes of enabling him to Continue and
Complete the Cultivation & production of the crops
aforesaid and prepare the same for Market
Now This Indenture made & entered into this 
3rd day of July in the Year of our Lord One thou-
sand Eight hundred & Sixty-Eight Witnesseth
that the said Enoch Edwards in Consideration
of Sixty dollars already advanced in come provided
