Elizabeth Hicks his wife and Severally acknowledged that
they Signed the foregoing deed for the purpose therein
Contained, and the said Elizabeth Hicks, being examined
Separate and apart from her said husband, declares

out fear or Compulsion of her said husband, In testimony

Alachua County   } Know all men by these presents
that I Junius C. Gardner Judge of Probate in and
for the County of Alachua and State aforesaid for and
in Consideration of the Sum of two hundred dollars
lawful Money of the United States of America paid into the
Treasury of said County by Stephen McCall the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained, Sold
released, conveyed and Confirmed unto the Said Stephen
McCall his heirs and assigns the following Lot of Land
in the Town of Gainesville, To wit Fractional Lot in the Town
Common Block No 7 Range No 5, being two hundred feet
front and running on the E line 274 feet to the run of
Sweet water Branch thence up the run of said Branch
200 feet thence the W line 200 feet to front line, Now I the
Said Junius C. Gardner by virtue of the power in me vested
as said Judge of Probate for myself as such Judge and
for my Successors in Office do and will by these presents
forever warrant and defend the premises aforesaid to the
Said Stephen McCall his heirs and assigns, In Witness
Whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal of Office
this 4th day of May AD 1868
