                   This Indenture made this the second day of
September in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and
sixty eight between Simion Dell of Said State and County
of the first part and his wife, Willamina Dell of the same
place, of the same place as Trustees as hereafter provided of
the second part
        Witnesseth
              That the said party of the first part for and in consider
ation of Ten dollars to him in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged as well as for the farther consideration of love and affection
which he has for his said wife and his children hereinafter named, hath
hereby granted, bargained, sold, given conveyed and transferred and by these
presents does forever remise, give and confirm unto his said wife Willa=
mina Dell in trust fo her own proper use during her natural life
and for the use of my children herein named, to wit: Eliza Ann Dell,
Ellen Louisa Dell, Mary Lee Dell and Bennett Franklin Dell to be
to be used, kept and expended for herself and my said children
for her and their own proper behalf and benefit according to dis=
cretion of my said wife - and after her death to my said children Equally
or to the survivors or survivor if any there be - the following property, to wit:
The plantation on which I now live, situated about seven miles from New-
nansville in said County, and containing about six hundred acres
together with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging; also a tract of land
situated on the Santafee River Known as the Hornsby place containing four
hundred acres more or less also a tract of land in said County near
the Adkinson Grant, containing two hundred acres more or less, also
my three mules and one cream colored Horse also about three thou=
sand dollars worth of notes; also all the proceeds arising from a mortgage
in my favor from John R. Bevill and Martha Rawls as admin on
the estate of John Rawls deceased; also all my household furniture and
kitchen furniture together with all farming implements and ap=
pliances - The said property to be Kept, managed and disposed of by
my said wife in trust as aforesaid for the use of herself and my
aforesaid children - during her life - as to her may seem ***t, and prop
er and after her death to my said children and if any be dead the
child or children of such to take its parents share, and if dead with
out child or issue, such share to go to the survivors or survivor
