County of Alachua }
This Indenture made the sixth day January
Fee Paid AD 1868, between Homer C. Cato Constable of said County
of the first part and Lee Reed Holder of Alachua County
of the second part. Witness by virtue of an execution issued
out of a Justice Court holden in and for the County of Ala
=chua, and to the said Constable delivered he was Commanded
that of the goods and chattels, lands and tenements of
Daniel Holder he cause to be made the Sum of Ten
dollars with interest thereon, and cost of suit, which
Mrs Ann Barry - lately recovered in the Justice Court of
Alachua County against Daniel Holder - And where
-as the Said Constable by virtue of said Execution did on
the First day of December AD 1867 levy upon and Seize
the property hereinafter described - And whereas the said
Homer C. Cato as Constable aforesaid did by virtue of
Said Execution and pursuant to the Statutes in Such
Case made, duly advertise the Said property for Sale
on the Sixth day of January AD 1868 being the day of
the date of these presents, and did on this day Sell the
Same at public auction according to Law to the said
Lee Reed Holder for the Sum of Ten Dollars being the
highest Sum bid for the Same, Now Therefore Know
Ye that I the Said Homer C. Cato as said Constable
by virtue of the Said Execution and of the Statutes in
Such case made and provided in consideration of
the Sum of Ten Dollars to me paid by the party of the
Second part have granted bargained and Sold, and
by these presents, do grant, bargain, and Sell, unto the
Said party of the Second part his heirs and assigns for
ever, all the following property Viz, a Lot or Tract of Land
Situate and being in Said County of Alachua and
described as the North East quarter of the North East
quarter of Section Seventeen (17) Township Seven (7) of
Range Nineteen (19) East containing forty acres more or
less, together with all and Singular the right title and
interest which the Said Daniel Holder had in the Said
property jointly and Severally, And the Same to hold as
fully as I the Said Constable as aforesaid under said
Execution Could or ought to Sell and Convey the Same
Given under my hand and seal this the Sixth day of
January 1868
