to the said Sarah C. Griffin and her children, all the dower &
thirds and right & title to dower in the piece or parcel of land

Alachua County   } This Indenture made this 12th day of September
Eighteen hundred & Sixty Eight, between Isom B. Thomas of the first
part and S.F. Halliday of the second part, both of the State of Florida
and County of Alachua, Witnesseth, that Whereas the said Isom B.
Thomas is desirous of making provisions for his wife Mary E. Thomas
against future contingencies, and for her maintainance and support
Now therefore This Indenture Witnesseth that the said Isom B.
Thomas in consideration of the premises and of the sum of One
dollar lawful Money to have in hand paid by the said party of the
Second part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath
bargained, Sold, and Conveyed, and by these presents, doth
bargain Sell and Convey to the said party of the Second part,
all that certain piece or parcel of land lying in the County of
Alachua Known and described as follows to wit:- the West
half of the South West quarter in Section Twenty six township
Eight & Range Eighteen Containing Eighty acres & 26/100 acres, the
East half of the North East quarter in Section twenty Seven
township Eight and range Eighteen East Containing Eighty acres
The South West quarter of the South East quarter in Section
