Alachua County   } Know all men by these presents that I
George M. Colman of the County of Alachua and State of Florida for and
in consideration of the sum - One Thousand one Hundred and fifty
to me in hand paid by Horace P. Langly of said County and State, the
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledge have bargained, sold, granted -
transferred, conveyed and confirmed and do by these presents bargain
sell, grant, transfer, convey and confirm unto said Horace P.
Langly his heirs and assigns forever all my right, title interest and
property of, in and to, a certain tract or parcel of land situated ly-
ing and being in the town of Gainesville in said County and
State and know and described on the map of the public survey of said
town as that portion of the west half of Block Four in Range Five front-
ing fifty (50) feet and running back east one hundred feet Lying
and being situated between portions of said block owned by Watson Por-
ter on the south, and John A. Cannon and Mary L. Cannon his wife
on the North together with all and singular the tenements, hereditaments
and appertenances, thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining: To have
and to hold the said described premises to him the said Horace P. Lang-
ly his heirs and assigns forever in fee simple -
  And I the said George M. Colman the right and title to the said
described premises in the said Horace P. Langly his heirs and assigns
will forever warrant and defend. In witness whereof I have hereunto set
my hand and seal this the 22d day of October A.D. Eighteen Hundred
and Sixty Eight -
