          This Indenture made the 1st day of October
AD One thousand Eight hundred & Sixty Eight, between
Wm W. Scott and Mary E. Scott his wife of the County of
Alachua State of Florida, Parties of the first part and
H. Bradford, W.W. Scott, F.P. Olmstead, Wm Valentine, Charles
Adams, P. Mitchell & H.R. Green trustees of the Newnansville
Seminary (Colored) of the County and State aforesaid, Parties
of the Second part, Witnesseth, that the Said parties of
the first part for and in Consideration of the Sum of
fifty dollars ($50.00) to them paid by the parties of the Second
part hath bargained and Sold and by these presents doth
bargain and Sell unto the said parties of the Second part
and their Successors the following lot of land lying upon the
West side of of the East 1/4 of the W1/2 of the NE1/4 of Section Eleven
Township 8 Range 18 East containing one acre as follows viz
Commencing at a post marked S on the West boundary of
the above described tract and thence running due East
two hundred & ten feet thence North two hundred & ten feet, thence
West two hundred & ten feet thence South two hundred & ten
feet to the place of beginning Together with all and Singular
the hereditaments and appurtinances thereunto belonging or
or in any wise appertaining and the reversion and reversions
rents issues & profits thereof & also all the Estate, right title
interest dower claim or demands whatsoever of them the
Said parties of the first part either in Law or Equity of, in
or to the above bargained premises & every part and parcel
thereof, And the said parties of the first part, do by these
presents bind themselves their heirs & assigns to warrant &
forever defend the above granted & bargained premises, unto
the Said parties of the Second part & their Successors -
