State of Florida  } This indenture made and entered into this
County of Alachua } fourteenth (14) day of November in the year of our
Lord Eighteen hundred and sixty eight between James Beatie of said
State and County of the first part and Ann Beatie of same State
and County of the second part as trustee as hereinafter set forth.
    Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in consideration
of the sum of Ten dollars to him in hand paid by the party of the second part,
the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged; as well as for the further consid=
eration of paying a debt to the said party of the second part in the sum of
one thousand Dollars due and finally owing from the said party of the first
part to the said party of the second part in his individual rights, and
for the further purpose of paying to the said party of the second part as trustee for
John J. Beatie and George F.R. Beatie the several respective sums of Five Hun=
dred Dollars to each which sum of Five hundred dollars is due and owing
from the said party of the first part to each the said John J. Beatie
and the said George F.R. Beatie respectively the said party of the first part
hereby bargains sells, aliens and conveys unto the said party of the second
part for and during the natural life of the said party of the second part
in her own rights as above expressed, and as trustee of the said John J.
Beatie and the said George F.R. Beatie in consideration and for the pur=
poses above expressed remainder over to Jeraldine C. Beatie and the children
of the said party of the first part all the following described property sit=
uated in said State of Florida and County of Alachua by the dwelling
house and lot of the said party of the first part in the Town of Gainesville
in said State and County, is being Range Three (3) Block one containing
one square Two hundred and forty (240) feet and the store house of the said
party of the first part and lot of land in said town together with all his
interest and property in section 8 Township nine Range nineteen and
the said party of the first part by these presents does convey and con=
firm unto the said party of the second part all the aforementioned proper
ty to have and to hold during her natural life as trustee as afore
said and after her death in trust for the payment of the afore
mentioned debts to the said John J. Beatie and the said George F.R.
Beatie then remaining unpaid thence to the said Jeraldine C. Beatie
and all the children of the party of the first part in fee
  In testimony whereof the said party of the first part has hereunto set his
hand and affixed his seal.  This the year and day first above writ=
ten
