have given granted bargained and sold and by these presents
do give, bargain and sell unto the said Elisebeth Bennett one
sorrel horse, eight years old one Jersey wagon and I do fur=
ther give bargain and sell unto my wife the said Elisebeth Bennett
all of the personal Property herein mentioned of which I am now pos=
sessed to wit - one hundred bushels of corn on the cobb &c &c

This Indenture made the first day of January AD One thou=
sand Eight hundred and fifty-six between David L. Yulee adminis=
trator of the estate of Moses E. Levy deceased, of the one part and James
Harrison of the second part witnesseth=
That whereas the said Moses E. Levy in his lifetime, namely on the twelfth
day of March 1853 by contract in writing sold to the said James Harrison the
lands hereinafter to be described and conveyed for the sum of three thou
sand dollars payable as follows to wit one thousand dollars on the 1st day
of January 1854, a like sum on the 1st day of Jan 1855, and a further
like sum of one thousand Dollars on 1st January 1856. All with in
terest at six per ct, and whereas the said James Harrison hath duly
made all the payments agreed to the said Levy in his life time and
to his administrator since his death, and whereas it hath become
the duty of said administrator, in virtue and by authority of the
statutes of Florida for such cases made and provided and in pur
suance thereof, to convey with effect the said contract by the said Levy
during his life him in writing by making and executing a proper
deed of conveyance for the lands to the said James Harrison.
Therefore be it known that the said David L. Yulee Administrator
of the estate of Moses E. Levy decd for and in consideration of the sum
of three thousand Dollars paid as beforesaid, hath granted bargained |
