Know all Men by these presents that I Tillman
Ingram, for and in consideration of One hundred Dollars
to me in hand paid by James Doig of the State of
Florida and County of Alachua, the Receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged, do hereby give grant bargain and
Sell unto the said James Doig his heirs and assigns a
certain piece or parcel of land lying and being Situated
in the Town of Gainesville and Known, and distinguished
as the North half of Block twelve (12) containing one
half acre more or less To have and to hold the afore
=said premises to the said James Doig his heirs and
assigns with all the appurtinances thereunto belonging
in fee Simple forever, Executors, administrators and assigns
do Covenant with the said James Doig, and his heirs and
assigns, that I am lawfully Seized in fee of the aforesaid
premises, that they are free from all encumbrances,
that I have a good right to Sell and Convey the same
to the said James Doig as aforesaid, and that I will
and my heirs, Executors, & administrators, Shall warrant
and defend the same to the said James Doig, and
his heirs and assigns, against the lawful Claims and
demands of all persons And for the consideration
aforesaid, and for divers other good considerations I
Ingram wife of said Tillman Ingram, do hereby
release and quit Claim unto the said James Doig his
heirs and assigns, all my right, claims or property of
Dower in or out of the aforesaid premises, In Witness
Whereof, we the said Tillman Ingram and J.A.L.
Ingram has hereunto Set our hands and Seals this
26th day of September in the year of our Lord One
thousand Eight hundred and Sixty four
