Alachua County } Know all men by these presents that I
John T. Downing of the State of Florida and County of Alachua of the first
part doth or hath bargained and sold unto Elizabeth Downing, of the
Second part of the State of Florida and County aforesaid the party
of the first part hath bargained and sold unto the said party of the
second part the following described property to wit, One Black Horse Mule
aged twelve years, One two horse road wagon worth one hundred dollars,
one buggy wagon worth five dollars and stock of Hogs marked
Crop in one Ear and upper Slope in the other to have and to hold
in fee Simple for ever, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged,
to warrant and defend the foregoing property in good right to the
party of the second part. I bind myself my heirs executors Ad-
-ministrators and Assigns for ever, to have and to hold the same
as her own. Given under my hand and seal this the 15th
day of October AD 1868
