   An Inventory of the Estate, goods and Chattles, Moneys
and Effects of Mary E. Davidson of the County of Alachua and
State of Florida, Whereas Mary E. Davidson wife of James
B. Davidson has become Seized and possessed of Certain
goods, wares and Merchandise, Moneys, Chattles and
Effects, by purchase within to Employ the Same in a general
Merchandise business to be conducted and carried
on in the Town of Gainesville in said County, and State
and to secure the same from all liability for the payment
of all and any of the debts, liabilities and obligations of the
Said James B. Davidson, now out Standing or hereafter to
become due, under the provisions of the act of the Legislature
of the State of Florida adopted on the Sixth day of March
AD Eighteen hundred and forty five, and being further desirous
that the said James B. Davidson, husband of the aforesaid
Shall Conduct and Carry on Said general Merchandise
business, as Special Agent for her the Said Mary E.
Davidson, with certain Power of Attorney, this day Signed
Sealed and delivered by the said Mary E. Davidson to her
Said husband, empowering him to act as Such Agent
(and bearing even date herewith) empowering him to Sell
and dispose of said goods wares and Merchandise, Moneys
Chattles, and Effects for cash for produce and other articles
of Value according to the best Judgement of him the said
James B. Davidson, and to purchase additional goods
with which to Supply said Stock when the same or any
part thereof, Shall have been disposed of by sale, or otherwise
Now Be it Known, that I Mary E. Davidson do this day herein
and hereby make and publish this the Inventory of my said
Separate property for the purposes and to the ends herein before
