Set forth to wit A lot of family groceries consisting of
Flour, Bacon, Pork, Lard, Corn Meal, &c valued at
Fifteen hundred Dollars a lot of Liquors consisting of
Wines, Brandies, Whiskies etc valued at One thousand
Dollars a lot of dry goods consisting of Calico, domestic
ladies goods &c valued at Two Hundred Dollars, A lot
of other Articles of Merchandise consisting of Shoes, hardware
crockeryware and a general assortment for a Country Store
Valued at Two Hundred & fifty Dollars
Together with what other articles of Merchandise, Monies
or effects my said agent may hereafter purchase for the
purpose of carrying on the said Mercantile business out
of monies, proceeds or other effects arising from the sale of
said goods &c aforesaid - Witness my hand this 16th
day of January AD 1869

Alachua County   } This Indenture made this the 26th
day of February AD One thousand Eight Hundred and
Sixty four between Thomas W. McCaa and Mary M. McCaa
his wife parties of the first part, of the County of Alachua
and State of Florida, and James R. Simpson of the County
of Richmond and State of Georgia party of the Second
part = Witnesseth that the parties of the first part for
and on Consideration of the Sum of Ten thousand Dollars
to them in hand paid by the party of the second part, at
and before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted bargained,
