                    To all to whom these presents shall come known
ye that I Albert Bockman of Alachua County & State of Florida of
the first part for securing the payment of the money hereinafter men
tioned and in consideration of the sum of one Dollar to me in hand
paid by Ignatus Griffin - have bargained and sold & by these presents
do bargain and sell unto Ignatus Griffin one light bay mare mule
and my growing crop of Cotton and Corn, to have and to hold
all and singular the above mentioned articles and things unto
the said Ignatus Griffin his Executors, administrators and
assigns forever -
       The condition of this obligation is such that if I do
well and truly pay unto Ignatus Griffin, his executors, admin=
istrators and assigns, the sum of Five hundred Dollars with eight
per cent Interest per annum from the 1 January 1868
until the first day of November next when the sum is
due and payable, and if the principle and Interest is paid as
Specified in this instrument then it is to be null and void, And
I hereby agree that if the same is not paid as specified herein
that I agree if it becomes necessary to foreclose the same by
suit at law or equity, to pay all costs and all reasonable at-
torneys fees and charges Given under my hand and seal this 30th
