                  Know all men by these presents, That we
James B. Brown are held and firmly bound unto David
S. Walker, Governor of the State of Florida or his successors
in Office in the full sum of Two thousand Dollars for
the payment of which well and truly to be made we
do hereby bind ourselves our heirs executors and administra
tors jointly and severally firmly by these presents; Sealed with
our Seals and dated this day of December A.D. 1874
     The condition of the above obligation is such That
whereas the above bound James B. Brown was on the twenty
sixth day of November A.D. 1866 duly appointed Auctioneer for
the County of Alachua in said State Now if the said Jas
B. Brown shall well and truly perform all the duties of
said Office as prescribed by law then this obligation to
be void else to remain in full force and virtue
