day of August Eighteen hundred and Sixty Eight between
John A. and Mary L. Cannon of the County of Alachua
and State of Florida of the first part and Francis W.
Fontane of the same State and County of the Second part
Witnesseth, that the said John A. and Mary L. Cannon
for and in Consideration of the sum of two thousand
dollars, to them in hand paid by the said Francis W.
Fontinae, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do
by these presents, give, grant, bargain, Sell and Convey
unto the said Francis W. Fontinae her heirs and assigns
a certain lot or parcel of land lying in the town of
Gainesville and Known and distinguished as Block
