County of Alachua } This Indenture made this the Twenty
fifth day of January Eighteen hundred and Sixty nine, between
James B. Brown and Anna W. Brown of the first part, and
Peter Johnson party of the Second part, Witnesseth that the
said James B. Brown and Anna W. Brown parties of the
first part for and in Consideration of the Sum of One
hundred & fifty dollars to us in hand paid before the
delivery hereof hath bargained and Sold and by these
presents doth grant, bargain Sell and Convey to the said
Peter Johnson, his heirs and assigns forever all that Certain piece
or parcel of land lying and being in said County and
State Known and described as the West half of Lot (13)
thirteen Section (5) five Township Ten (10) Range Twenty (20)
Together with all and Singular the tenements, hereditaments
and appurtinances, and all the Estate title and interest
of the said party of the first part, therein named - To have
and to hold the same unto the said party of the Second
part his heirs and assigns forever, And the said party of
the first part doth hereby warrant and defend the above
granted premises in the quiet and peaceable possession of
the said party of the Second part his heirs and assigns forever

Separately and apart from her said husband, acknowledged
under her hand and Seal that this relinquishment and
renunciation of Dower in the above described land is
made freely and Voluntarily and without any compulsion
Constraint, apprehension or fear of or from her said
husband - Given under my hand & Seal of Office the
