or parcels of land unto her the said Mary Ann Johnson
her heirs and assigns, together with all and singular the
rights, members and appurtenances thereof, to the same in
any manner belonging to her and their own proper use ben-
efit and behoof forever in fee simple.
And the said James Beattie for himself and his heirs exec-
utors and administrators, the said bargained premises, unto the
said Mary Ann Johnson, her heirs and assigns, will warrant
and forever defend the right, interest & title thereof, against
themselves and against the claim of all other parties whatever.

County of Alachua } This Indenture made and entered this seventh day
of August one thousand eighteen hundred and sixty eight between
James H. Roper of the County and State aforesaid of the first part, and
George E. Cessna of the same residence of the second part.
Witnesseth That the said party of the first part for and in consideration
of the sum of five hundred dollars lawful money of the United States to
him in hand paid before the delivery hereof, hath bargained and
sold; and by these presents doth grant and convey to the said party of the
second part, his heirs and assigns forever, all that certain piece or par=
cel of land, lying and being in the County of Alachua & State aforesaid and
which is known and described as follows Viz:- Commencing at the
South East corner of W.K. Cessna's lot opposite the depot and run North
one hundred feet to a stake the point of beginning, Thence run North
fifty feet to a stake, thence west one hundred feet to a stake thence south
fifty feet to a stake thence east one hundred feet to the beginning
