on the North & west by lots owned by J.H. Roper, and on South by lot own=
ed by M.E. Cessna, containing Five hundred square feet more or less together
with all and singular the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances
and all the estate title and interest of the said party of the first part
therein, and the said party of the first part doth hereby covenant and
agree with the said party of the second part, that at the time of the de-
livery hereof, the said party of the first part is the lawful owner of the premises
above granted and seized thereof in fee simple absolute, and that he will
warrant and defend the above granted premises in the quiet and peaceable
possession of the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever.

State of Florida  } This Indenture made the seventh day of August
County of Alachua } one thousand Eight hundred and sixty eight be=
tween James H. Roper of the County of Alachua and State aforesaid
party of the first part and William K. Cessna of said County and State of
the second part -
   Witnesseth, That the said party of the first part for and in consideration
of the sum of Three hundred & fifty Dollars, lawful money of the United
States, to him duly paid before the delivery hereof, hath bargained and
sold and by these presents doth grant and convey to the said party of the second
part his heirs and assigns forever, all that certain piece or parcel of land, lying
and being in the County of Alachua and State of Florida and which is known
and described as follows viz: Commencing at the south East corner of W.K. Cessnas
lot opposite the Depot, running West one hundred feet to a stake the point of begin=
ing, thence North up W.K. Cessna's line, one hundred feet to a stake, thence West one
hundred feet to a stake near a Ditch, Thence south down said ditch, one hundred
feet to a stake Thence East one hundred feet to a stake the point of beginning, Bounded
on the East by W.K. Cessna and the North, West & south by J.H. Roper's lots, Con=
taining ten thousand square feet more or less - together with all and singular
