and agree with the said party of the second part, that at the time of the
delivery hereof, the said party of the first part is the lawful owner of the prem
ises above granted and sized thereof in fee simple absolute and that he
will warrant and defend the above granted premises in the quiet and

Alachua County   } This Indenture made this Friday 29th 
day of January AD 1869 between Jessie R. Whaley of the 
County and State aforesaid, of the first part and Stephen
McCall of the same place of the second part. Whitnesseth
that the said Jessie R. Whaley for and in consideration of
the sum of five thousand to him in hand paid at and
before the Sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted, bargained
sold and conveyed, and doth by these presents, grant
bargain, sell and convey unto the said Stephen McCall
his heirs and assigns, all that tract or parcel of land
situate lying and being in the County of Alachua of
Alachua & State aforesaid to wit: The East half of section
Twenty five (25) Township Nine (9) Range Nineteen (19) containing
Three hundred and Nineteen 88/100 acres.  Also the north most
corner of North East quarter of Section Twenty six (26)
Township Nine (9) Range Nineteen (19) together with
the North West quarter of Section Twenty six (26) Township
Nine (9) Range Nineteen (19) containing in all One hundred
and Sixty acres more or less.  To have and to hold said
tract or parcel of land unto him the said Stephen
McCall his heirs and assigns together with all and
singular the rights, members and appurtanances thereof
to the same in any manner belonging to his and their own
proper use, benefit and behalf forever in fee simple. And
