                    Memmorandum of An agreement
           between Dr J. Crews Pelot and Wimberly Wm B.
                      The said J. Crews Pelot agrees
to rent to the said Wm B. Wimberly Seventy or more
acres of land lying in the Southern part of the plantation
owned by the said J. Crews Pelot, and Situated
near Newnansville, more particularly described as being
upon the S1/2 of the SE1/4 of Sec 10, T 8, R 18, S&E
Together with the appurtenances thereunto belonging
untill the 31st day of December 1869, For and in consid
=eration of which the said Wm B. Wimberly agrees to
pay to the said J. Crews Pelot or his legal
representative the sum of two hundred and ten
($210) dollars on the first day of December 1869. The
said sum to be and is hereby made a first 
Lien upon all the Crops made on said land
In Witness whereof we have hereunto Set our hands
and Seals this 3rd 15th day of February 1869

between Dr J. Crews Pelot and Robt W. Campbell
             The said J. Crews Pelot agrees to
rent to the said Robt W. Campbell the following
described Lands, to wit, A certain parcel of land
lying on the Western side of the plantation owned
by the said J. Crews Pelot situated near Newnansville
The said parcel being the NW1/2 of Sec 10 T8
R18 S&E together with all the improvements on said
parcel the said parcel is timated to contain
