County of Alachua }  This Indenture made this 28" day
of August 1856 between Henry E. Edwards of the
State and County aforesaid of the first part,Witnesseth
That and William Henry Davis of the same place of the
second part Witnesseth that the said Henry E. Ed=
wards doth for and in consideration of the sum of one
hundred dollars lawful money to him in hand paid by
the said William Henry Davis at and before the sealing and
delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowl-
edged, Hath granted bargained sold released conveyed and con-
firmed, and by these presents, doth bargain sell release convey
and confirm, unto the said William Henry Davis his heirs
and assigns a certain piece of land Known as the North half
of the Northeast quarter of section Thirteen (13) Township seven Range
eighteen east containing eighty acres more or less, with all
and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging, and
all of the Rights titles and interest, claims, and demands
of the said Henry E. Edwards his heirs and assigns, will for-
ever warrant and defend unto William Henry Davis, his heirs
and assigns, the said lot of land against the claims or demands
of any person or persons whatsoever whereto the said Henry
E. Edwards has hereunto set his hand and seal this the day and year
above written
