Alachua County } This Indenture, made this 17" day of September 1866 between Henry
B. Scott of Alachua County State of Florida, and Horatio
Jenkins Jr. & Leonard G. Dennis of the same County and
State witnesseth.
Said party of the first part for and in consider=
ation of the sum of two thousand Eight hundred dollars
($2,800.00) lawful money of the United States, secured to be paid
to him for the delivery hereof, hath bargained and sold, and
conveyed, and by these presents doth grant, bargain sell and convey
to the said Jenkins and Dennis, their heirs and assigns forever,
all those certain pieces or parcels of land, lying and being in the
County of Alachua, State of Florida and which is Known and
described as follows to wit - S1/2 Sect 32, T.7. S. Range 20 E. NW1/4 of the
NE1/4, and the N1/2 of the NW1/4, Sect 5 and lots No 1 & N1/2 of lots No 2
Sect 6 T.8. S Range 20 E. being the lands conveyed by deed by
Phillip Dell to said Scott, to have and to hold the same, together with
all and singular the tenements, hereditaments and appurten=
ances, and all the estate, title, and interest of the said parties of
the first part therein, Said lands as above described all suppose
ed to contain five hundred and sixty (560) acres and the said
$.10 IR US party of the first part, does hereby covenant and agree with the
said parties of the second part, that at the time of delivery
hereof, the said parties of the first part are the lawful owners
of the premises above granted and conveyed in fee simple abso=
lute and that he will warrant and defend the above granted premi=
ses in the quiet and peaceable possession of the said parties of the sec=
ond part, their assigns and heirs forever and against every other
person lawfully claiming the same -
