Alachua County   } This Indenture made this the 1st
day of February AD 1869 by George L. Barnes, Sher=
iff of Alachua County of the second part
  Whereas by virtue of a writ of fieri facias issued out
of the Circuit Court of Alachua County, and to the
said Sheriff delivered he was commanded that of the goods
and chattles lands, and tenements of George H. Sharper he
caused to be made the sum of Two hundred and seven
ty six dollars with interest thereon and costs of suit which Osi=
as Buddington lately recovered in the Circuit Court of Alach=
ua County, viz. on the Fourth day of May A.D. 1853 against said
George H. Sharper and whereas the said Sheriff by virtue of said
writ did on the 25" day of December A.D. 1868 levy upon and
seized the property hereinafter described, and whereas the said
George L. Barnes, as Sheriff as aforesaid, did by virtue of said writ and
pursuant to the Statue in such cases made and provided, duly
advertise the said property for sale on Monday the 1st day of
February, AD 1869 being the day of the date of these presents,
and did on this day sell the same at public auction ac=
cording to law to the said Solomon F. Halliday of Alachua
County for the sum of sixty five dollars being the highest
bidder for the same, Now therefore Know ye that I the
said George L. Barnes as said Sheriff by virtue of the
said writ in such cases made and provided in consid
