This Indenture made this 22d day of July in the year of
our Lord one thousand eight hundred & sixty Seven, between
Henry B. Scott of the County of Alachua and State of Florida
of the first part and Lemwel Wilson of the same place of the
second part Witnesseth that whereas the said Henry B. Scott
has drawn and given his certain promissory note to the party

Alachua County   } This indenture made on the twentieth day
of October in the year one thousand eight hundred & sixty
eight between James T. Thomas of the first & E.P. Hickson of the
second part, Witnesseth That for & in consideration of sum of five
hundred dollars to him in hand paid at & before the sealing
& delivery hereof the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged the said
party of the first part has given granted bargained sold & delivered
& by these presents do so give grant bargain sell & deliver to said party
of the second part the following named & described property, Viz In the
town of Gainesville, Block (1) one & Range (6) six, Also in Brushes
addition to Gainesville all that piece or parcel of land being two
two hundred feet from north to South & four hundred feet from
east to West designated as lot number (18) eighteen situated in
the County of Alachua & State of Florida, To have & to hold the said
above named & conveyed parcel of land, Together with all & sin=
gular the improvements belonging or in any wise appertaining
to the said party of the second part & to his hairs & assigns in fee
simple forever, And the said party of the first part covenant &
agree with the said party of the second part that they are
Seized in fee of the afore granted & conveyed premises, That
they are free from all incumbrances, that he has good right to
the sell & convey the same to the said party of the second part, and
that he his heirs, Executors, or administrators shall warrant
and defend the afore said property to the said party of the second
part his heirs executors administrators & assigns, In
testimony whereof the said party of the first part has hereunto
set his hand and affixed tis seal on the day & the year first
above written
