Alachua County   } I William H. Chappel do hereby make
constitute and appoint Henry C. Dozier of said State
and County my true & lawful Attorney for me and in
my name to collect all moneys which may be due
and owing to me and to reciept for the same To rent
out my real estate and receive and reciept for the
rent of the same, Also to make sale of said real estate
& make & execute titles to the same & in fact to do
any and all things in the premises as though I were
present doing the same in person And I do hereby
ratify all that my said Attorney may lawfully do in

I the said Hicks am desirous to invest the said goods above
described in the business of a Retail Bar Room to be carried on
and conducted in the town of Gainesville in said county and
State and am further desirous to appoint Howell A. Baisdin my
