covenant with the said Jenkins & Dennis their heirs and
assigns that I am lawfully seized in fee simple of
the afore granted premises that I have good rights
to sell and convey the same to the said Jenkins & Dennis

undersigned Nathaniel Gill a Commissioner resident in the City
of New York duly commissioned and qualified by the executive authority
and under the laws of the State of Florida to take the acknowledgment
of Deeds &c to be used or recorded therein personally appeared H.B. Scott
whose name appears as a subscribing witness to the within instrument
and who being duly sworn deposes and says: that James Moore
grantor in said instrument duly signed sealed and delivered
the within Instrument by making his mark thereto as his act
and deed in the presence of him, the said H.B. Scott and
of one S.H. Garvin who then and there duly signed and attested
the same in the presence of him the said James Moore and
of S.H. Garvin who also at the same time and in the presence
of him the said H.B. Scott and that of the said James Moore
subscribed his name as subscribing witness thereto

eight hundred and Sixty nine Between William Strickland
of the County of Alachua and State of Florida party of the
first part and George Mundy of the City of New York party
of the second part Witnesseth That the said party of the first
part for and in consideration of the sum of one dollar to
