Alachua County   } This Indenture made this fourth
day of March Eighteen hundred & Sixty nine, between
John R. Campbell of the State of Florida and County
of Alachua of the first part and Mary F. Shaw
of said State & County aforesaid of the Second part
Witnesseth, That the party of the first part for
and in Consideration of the Sum of Six hundred
dollars to him in hand paid at and before the
Sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath bargained
and Sold and by these presents do grant and Convey
to the party of the Second part the following described
town Lots lying and being Situate in the Town of New
=nansville, Known on the plat of said Town as
Lots number thirteen (13) North Eighty feet (80) front
and two hundred & ten feet Back (210) and the North
half of Lot number (14) fourteen One hundred & five feet
(105) deep North and South, All in North half Range
of said Town, To Have and to hold to the party of the
Second part her heirs and assigns forever in fee Simple
together with all the tenements and hereditaments and
appurtinances thereunto belonging or in anywise
appertaining during her natural life and at her
death the said Land &c to be equally divided
amongst her children, the said children to take
Share and Share alike, and should either of said
Children die (before their mother) leaving children
the children of said child dieing are to receive the
Share that he or she is to receive under this deed, the
Said Children or grand children as the Case may
be of the said Mary F. Shaw to have and to hold
their respective Shares of said Land &c forever and
in fee Simple and the said party of the first part
doth hereby Covenant and agree with the party of the
Second part, that at the time of the delivery hereof
he is the lawful owner of the premises above described
and Seized thereof in fee Simple absolute, and
that he will warrant and defend the above granted
premises in the Quiet and peaceable possession of the
Said Mary F. Shaw, for her natural life, and to her
Children or grand children (as the Case may be)
forever and in fee Simple - In Witness whereof he
hath hereunto Set his hand and Seal the day and
year above written - Signed Sealed and delivered
