State of Florida  } This Indenture made this the ninth
County of Alachua } day of December Eighteen hundred and
Sixty eight between Jos A.C. Jones of the State and County
aforesaid of the first part and M.E. Davison of the said
State and County of the second part Witnesseth: That
Said Jos A.C. Jones for and in Consideration of the
Sum of Three hundred dollars to him in hand paid
by said M.E. Davison the receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged does by these presents grant bargain
sell and convey unto said M.E. Davison her heirs and
assigns a certain piece or lot of land lying and being in
the town of Gainesville State and County aforesaid con
taining a front of twenty five feet by depth of sixty feet
Known and distinguished on map of said Town as the
eastern portion of the south half of lot no one (1) Block three
(3) Range four 4 the same being a portion of the lot pur
chased from C.W. Druek together with all the privelidges
and appurtenances thereunto belonging to have and to
hold the same above mentioned lot of land unto the Said
M.E. Davison her heirs and assigns forever in fee simple
And the said Jos A.C. Jones will and his heirs executors
and administrators Shall the said lot of land to the said
M.E. Davison her heirs Executors and assigns forever
warrant and defend against the lawful claim of
all persons whatever
     In witness whereof the said Jos A.C. Jones has
hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal in the
day and year above mentioned
